Diss warmed up for this Sunday's Woodforde's Norfolk Senior Cup final against North Walsham with a traditional friendly fixture at Holt.
With the Harrison Cup at stake Diss gave a good account of themselves on Saturday but it was the hosts who came out on top 44-22. The game was marred by a nasty looking knee injury sustained by Diss blindside flanker Deaglan Hall, who had to be stretchered off the field.
Sunday's county showpiece takes place at North Walsham's Scottow ground, with a 3pm kick-off.
