Diss Town came from a goal down to secure their sixth away win of the season, with leading scorer Virgilio Leitao taking his goal tally for the season to 27.

Leitao was within inches of opening the scoring in the third minute when his shot from the edge of the area flashed just wide following good link up play by Nuno Nogueira and Stephan Vincent.

Vincent played the perfect through ball for Leitao to run on to nine minutes later. He lifted his shot from just outside the penalty area but it didn't have enough height to go over Dave Beeny.

The Hares opened the scoring in the 21st minute when Stacey Payne failed to control the ball and as it ran away he went into Michael Chow. A penalty was awarded and Casey Logan sent it into the corner of the net.

It took Diss just two minutes to equalise when Leitao pulled the ball back for Will Goulding to stretch and divert it in with his right foot from six yards out. Just before half-time an in swinging corner from the right from Ryan Beeston was tipped over via the bar by Beeny.

Diss went ahead in the 56th minute. Payne found Beeston out on the left and he was able to send a centre to the far post where Charlie Lambe headed it back for Goulding to send a shot from eight yards out. It stuck between the feet of Leitao, but his was able to react quickly to send the visitors ahead with his shot from two yards out.

Three minutes later Diss moved 3-1 ahead. Leitao played the ball to Goulding in a central position and he switched the ball to the right for Lambe to move forward and cross low for Leitao to shoot in on the run from three yards out. Three minutes from time Leitao was denied a hat-trick when Beeny gathered his deflected shot from the edge of the penalty area as he dived to his right.

FC Holland 2 Diss Town 3

Diss Town travelled to Clacton looking to avenge a home defeat to Holland FC just 24 days earlier.

A commanding first half performance saw Diss go in 3-0 ahead with Holland fighting back in the second half.

It meant both leagues games this season between the two teams ended in 3-2 away wins.

The Tangerines went close on a number of occasions before taking the lead when Nuno Nogueira's perfect through ball allowed Will Goulding to run and slide his shot from 30 yards out past keeper Morrison, who was stranded just outside his penalty area.

Then Charlie Lambe ran on to a pass down the right wing in the 38th minute and played the ball across for Stacey Payne to guide his left foot shot in from four yards to put Diss 2-0 ahead.

Two minutes before half-time a goal of the season contender saw Diss increase their lead. The ball bounced on the hard and bobbly pitch towards Lambe who was in a central position some 30 yards out. With the wind at his back he hit a first time right foot shot which flew into the top corner.

Ten minutes into the second half Jack Tipple had a free-kick blocked and the follow-up shot from Virgilio Leitao went wide. This seemed to stir Holland into action and Joe Martin forced the ball in from a corner kick to pull a goal back.

Moments later a speculative shot struck the Diss bar. Hayhoe was clearly struggling with an ankle injury but did well to tip a 20 yard free kick from Randall over the bar.

Diss were being put under pressure and needed another goal to make the game safe. Another free-kick from Tipple was on target in the 84th minute but Morrison gathered it easily and started a forward move which ended with Hayhoe using his feet to deny Toby Harms.

Late pressure from the hosts intensified when Diss failed to keep possession in an attacking position in the second minute of added time. Holland broke and Steve Eaton ran through to reduce the deficit to one goal. Diss hung on for the remaining three minutes to secure the away win that their first half dominance had earned.
