Diss Town shared eight goals with AFC Sudbury Reserves in their final away match of the season.

The Tangerines twice held a two-goal lead on the 3G pitch but were pegged back in the second half.

Diss gave the ball away in midfield in the sixth minute and were punished when Ben Hunter moved forward to shoot low past George MacRae.

Within 10 minutes a quick brace from Angus Mackie had turned the game the way of Diss. First home goalkeeper Curtis Child dropped the ball from a corner and Joe Manning and Ben Norton-Hugman had shots blocked before Mackie put the loose ball in from close range. Then Diss won the ball almost straight from the kick-off and played in Mackie who send a fierce shot into the roof of the net.

The visitors used the surface to their advantage in the 32nd minute as Pain played the ball into space for Mackie to run with the ball, move into the penalty area and gently roll it into the path of leading scorer Shaun Hunsdon who netted his 26th goal of the season.

Three minutes later Diss had a great chance to increase the lead, Mackie played a fine pass into the path of Pain and after his shot had been blocked by Child, Whayman put the rebound well over the bar from a good position.

Sudbury pulled a goal back in the 38th minute when Ben Judge outpaced the Diss defence to score but just before half-time Diss went 4-2 ahead when Whayman sent a corner from the left for Jack Tipple to head home from 10 yards out via a deflection off a defender.
