Diss Multi-Banger Racing Champion Lee Clarke will be going for gold when the 2L Banger World Final is staged at King's Lynn's Norfolk Arena tomorrow (Sat) at 6pm.

Clark, who is currently the English and U25 Champion in Banger Racing, will be gunning for the biggest title in his career. He has been in great form around the Norfolk Arena this year and last year was sensational when he won the Visitor Points League.

Lee will be joined on the grid by teen sensation Billy Bond (Diss) who has qualified for his first-ever World Final appearance and whilst nerves are likely to take hold, Bond will be gunning for a top-ten place finish which is well within his capabilities.

There are 130 National Bangers booked in to race, and amongst those chasing the final grid positions in the Last Chance Races are Diss drivers Emmerson Fairweather, Shane Lynn and Daniel and Mark Latham, who have all got the potential to make the final grid.

Completing the action are the 2L Stock Cars where current European Champion David Aldous (Diss) will be seeking to extend his current 12-point lead in the Lynn Track Championship. Aldous was unlucky in contesting the

2L Stock Car UK on Sunday when losing out in a fantastic race-long duel with Stuart Shevill (Motherwell).
