DISS U12 started strongly and dominated the first half at league leaders Weeting. PoM Jane Uebergang made some great runs from midfield and Steven Hines tackled and blocked bravely at the back. Lawrence Brown saw his free-kick well saved before Sam Hunt rounder the keeper and finished coolly. Diss nearly added the second goal their play deserved, but instead they conceded an unlucky equaliser and Weeting upped their game in the second half. They took the lead and then proceeded to pick Diss off on the break as they struggled to get back into the game. FT 1-6.

HETHETHERSETT U12 travelled to Garboldisham for their penultimate game of the season trying to keep fourth spot in the table. Both teams played entertaining football in dreadful conditions with driving rain. Hethersett took the lead when Tom Anderton scored the first of a hat-trick. They then scored again through Aaron Walker. Garboldisham came straight back to make it 2-1. Hethersett kept playing nice passing football which paid off when Tom got his second and Jack Kirby made a fine run from his own half, beating three players and slotting the ball past the keeper to make the half-time score 4-1. Second half Hethersett took control and scored six more goals through Lewis Harris, Luca Pinheiro, Tom Anderton, Oli Hudson Church and Jack Kirby (2) to make the final score 10-1. This was a great result for Hethersett as they were beaten 10-1 by Garboldisham earlier in the season. It just goes to show how far we have come this season. MoM: Tom Anderton.

SCOLE GIRLS U14 playing their last league match of the season Scole started slowly and were one down after 50 seconds. The rest of the half was even and Shannon Lummis made some good saves. Scole started the second half better with Holly Burley having a couple of chances. With nine minutes to go Ellie Drake scored after a defensive mix-up, but unfortunately Scole didn't build on this and conceded two late goals. PoM: Holly Burley for her excellent work rate. FT: Firside Foxes 3 Scole Girls 1.

SCOLE U15 gave a creditable performance in their last game of the season against the aspiring champions. Norwich had the better of the first half and led by three at the interval, although Scole were not without a few chances. After three more for the visitors a goal from Charlie Deakin seemed no more than a consolation, but for the last 20 minutes Scole found some of their best form and camped in the Nowich half, adding goals from Dan Taylor and Joe Read. Overall a fourth place finish in the league was a creditable season's performance. FT: Scole U15 3 Norwich Utd U15 6.

WYMONDHAM U9 were up against one of the top teams and were put under early pressure. Excellent covering from James D and a clearance off the line by Iwan could not prevent Catton from taking a two-goal lead. A decent pass from Denis found James D whose fine shot hit the post. The respite was short-lived. Despite the best efforts of Ewan in defence and a series of fine saves from Seth, Catton increased their lead with some excellent play and finished the half 6-0 in front. As so often this season, Wymondham rallied really well in the second half. All the players gave that bit extra. Josh and Alex battled well in midfield and James A shot just wide. Denis was well placed to score Wymondham's first goal of the game. A bit later, James D produced some fine individual play, beating several players to score a super goal. Old Catton responded in kind, but James D scored another well-deserved goal for the away side. The second half was a much more open affair. Seth, now in attack, linked well with Denis and Ewan saved a shot on the line. Old Catton were well worth their win, but credit must again go to Wymondham for a vastly-improved second-half display. Men of the Match awards go to Seth for some great goal-keeping; Iwan for a fine defensive play including two goal-line clearances and to James D for good covering all match, capped by two well taken goals. FT: 10-3 MoM: Seth, Iwan & James D.

WYMONDHAM TOWN UTD U11 with their backlog of fixtures, had two games last weekend and needed to win both to keep alive their hopes of winning the title. The first was a tricky away match at Drayton on Saturday. After a fairly even start Wymondham, went ahead when Lewis put Jacob through and he fired home with his right foot. Jake and Bryn almost converted a couple of half-chances as Wymondham gained the upper hand. Drayton came back into it and were foiled by Christy's alert defending and two great blocks by Luke and Lucas. Just before the break Henry clipped a post, but keeper Connor was also forced into a fine save. On the restart United lost their first-half rhythm and shape as Drayton got on top. Another fine save by Connor and a vital clearance by Lucas denied them an equaliser. Minutes later they appeared set to draw level when they were awarded a penalty, but once again Connor with a brilliant save denied them. WTU increased their lead when Bryn crossed for Jacob, who once again made no mistake. Despite this cushion, the hosts were still pressing and hit the bar twice, the second resulting in a superb point blank save by Connor. Bryn then carved out another chance from the right but Sonny fired just wide. FT: 2-0. MoM: Jacob Bush/Connor Milligan. With Ketts Park unfit, Wymondham were fortunate to be allowed to use Drayton's pitch for a home game against lowly Taverham. Wymondham took command immediately and it wasn't long before Sonny found Jacob with a fine ball and the winger continued his fine scoring run. Jacob, Lewis and Bryn all went close before Jake hit the bar from close range. Sonny and Henry combined to set up Jacob again for the second before Bryn drilled home the third. Sonny and Lewis worked an opening for Henry to lob the keeper for the fourth while Lewis volleyed the fifth from a Bryn corner. Christy and Jacob were then the providers for Lewis to make it 6-0. The bombardment continued but the plucky Taverham keeper made a series of fine saves. Henry then volleyed a seventh and went down in the box soon after for a penalty. Up stepped keeper Connor with a fine shot which his counterpart just failed to keep out. The second half was no different as shot after shot rained in on goal. Henry hit a post but then added nine and 10. Lewis capitalised from a goal-kick to make it 11-0 and Sonny finally got on the scoresheet to make it 12. Jack's fierce volley off a defender made it 13-0 before Henry grabbed two more to make it 15. Luke then got in on the act with a fine goal and William twice and Jacob once again completed the rout. Final Score 19-0. MoM: Lewis Thurston.
