British Masters sprinters Karen Hindle and Ian Foster, completed a successful indoor season, with a medal haul at last weekend's Indoor Championships, held at Lee Valley, London.
Karen from Tivetshall St Mary, struck gold with her first British indoors title in the W40 200 metres, with a time of 28.03. Disappointed not to do the double with a silver in the 60m, there was a silver lining as she recorded a new personal best of 8.40secs.
Ian, from Pulham, who coaches Karen, retained his M65 60 metres British title in a respectable time of 8.40 seconds, and then went on to gain bronze in a competitive 200 metres race with a time of 28.26 seconds.
Fellow Norfolk sprinter Andy Woods, of Roydon, travelled with the pair, but was unable to compete due to injury.
Karen said: 'Winning my first GB indoors title is a great end to the season, now onwards and upwards to the outdoors."
