Diss Town, after beating Ridgeons Premier side CRC and losing to Aveley, complete their pre-season matches with an away game at Anglian Combination Premier Division Blofield United on Saturday (ko 3pm).

DISS won for the first time in their pre-season matches when they beat Cambridge Regional College 4-3 in an entertaining match.

Diss took an early lead, trailed 3-1 at half-time but played some fine football in the second half.

A poor third-minute Diss corner was not fully cleared and Osiris Gomes hit a shot from wide on the left which found its way into the net.

A Sam Parkinson free-kick from wide on the right was aimed at the inrushing forwards at the far post but eluded players from both sides and ended up in the top corner for the equaliser.

Diss gave the ball away to Adam Marriott in the 30th minute and he advanced into the penalty area before sending a low shot home.

Five minutes later he scored his second when he appeared to use his hand to beat Bartosz Potrawski to a centre.

A run from Gomes in the 61st minute was ended by the hand of a defender who had fallen to the floor and Robbie Lawrence blasted the penalty home.

Two minutes later Steve Wright had a shot kicked away for a corner. Lawrence swung the ball in from the left and Leighton Miller's header went over the goal line to make it 3-3. Gomes ran at the defence with 10 minutes to go and found Wright on the edge of the penalty area. He laid the ball back for Lawrence to score the winner with a superb 25-yard right-foot shot.
