Reflex Martial Arts' chief instructor Adrian Poulter and instructors Joe Cooper, Louise Poulter graded five students to a higher level of kickboxing at Syleham Village Hall last weekend.
Thanks must go out to Des Lock and his son Tyrone for helping out at the grading. Two students were aiming for green belt and three were aiming for blue belt and all gave their best to achieve new grades.
Syleham's air-conditioned hall helped to keep the students from overheating while they were put through their paces.
They have a very full syllabus for their kickboxing style that really works well for the students. It covers all types of defences from kicks and punches, plus great counters and punch kick combinations.
Congratulations to new grades green belts Graham Thorpe, Angus Wilkinson. Blue belts, Katherine Knights, Hollie Cobb and Linny Whittleton.
All kickboxing classes are on a short break until September when they return to the Diss Infant School and Eye High School classes.
