It was back to winning form for Diss Ladies as they took a convincing 4-0 hockey win versus Breckland Ladies in the first match of their double header weekend.

Player of the match Sam Howard opened Diss' account with an impressive dribble through the field before firing the ball to the back of the net.

Brown was next to score for Diss, with Howard taking her second to take the half-time score to 3-0. It was a quiet game for Diss' defence but Megan Brown, Pam Keeley and goalkeeper Sue Moore were solid as ever when required so as to keep a clean sheet. Lucy Kershaw scored the final goal of the game from a short-corner.

After a frantic start from both sides in this Evergreens II rescheduled match, the scoreline was a frustrating 0-0 at half-time.

However, the second half was full of drama as Emily Crosland was taken down by the keeper giving Juliette Chartier the opportunity to put away a superb penalty flick to put Diss ahead.

Sue Moore made some outstanding saves giving her and Emily Crosland the joint honour of players of the match. Diss consolidated their lead to 2-0 through Anne Plowman, to take three points and climb up to fourth position in the league.
