ON Sunday, eight anglers Michael Thorndyke (Eye), Peter Mills (Diss), Jon Knight (Scloe), Colin Haddock (Thorndon), Charlie Flatman (Burgate), David Newcombe (Tibenham), Nigel Bryant (Laxfield) and Keith Carter (Hoxne) went out fishing from West Mersea aboard Derek Moles' boat Eastern Promise.

ON Sunday, eight anglers Michael Thorndyke (Eye), Peter Mills (Diss), Jon Knight (Scloe), Colin Haddock (Thorndon), Charlie Flatman (Burgate), David Newcombe (Tibenham), Nigel Bryant (Laxfield) and Keith Carter (Hoxne) went out fishing from West Mersea aboard Derek Moles' boat Eastern Promise.

They travelled out to fish about three miles out from Clacton.

The fish caught were codling and whiting. The total fish caught were 45 codling and 31 whiting.
