HEYWOOD Sports and Racquet Club's squash teams picked up three wins within a week, including two emphatic maximums without dropping a game!The Norfolk League first team whitewashed bottom of the league Oasis 15-0 with straight game victories for Neil Cross, Dan Calver, Jack Bell and Alex Williams, while on the same night the feat became twice as good as the Suffolk Legaue second team returned from Stowmarket with another 18-0 thrashing.

The Norfolk League first team whitewashed bottom of the league Oasis 15-0 with straight game victories for Neil Cross, Dan Calver, Jack Bell and Alex Williams, while on the same night the feat became twice as good as the Suffolk Legaue second team returned from Stowmarket with another 18-0 thrashing.
The team of Tom Bobbins, Luke Watkins, Mike Hegarty, John Shaw and Alex Brown were ruthless in not dropping a game to cement their place at the top of the league as the push for promotion.
Meanwhile, the second team were made to work hard as they faced a second game within a week as the hosted Lexden from Colchester.
Diss won 16-5 thanks to three lower-order straight-game victories from again John Shaw, Mike Hegarty and Jack Bell before Luke Watkins raced away to a one game lead before being beaten 3-1 and Tom Bobbins featured in the game of the night battling back from 1-2 to beat the experienced Jon Braddock 8-9, 9-3, 3-9, 9-6, 9-2.
Next week the first team travel to Barnham Broom, while the second team host Wick Lodge Tuesday, June 22, 7.40pm and the third team travel to Cromer.
