HARLESTON returned to action after the weather caused the previous week's fixture to be postponed yet again and earned themselves a hard-fought point against Anglian Combination Division Three high flyers Aylsham.
Aylsham started brighter and looked to be adopting a direct approach with the Harleston backline dealing well with the early pressure caused from high balls into their box.
As the half progressed Harleston began to get a foothold in the game with James Trudgill going close with a free kick and again moments later when he fired just over the bar from inside the box.
Aylsham's physical approach had them on top of the game as the interval approached in a half of very few chances.
Harleston started the second half well, adapting to the physical game well and upping the tempo to take the game to their hosts. The hosts however continued to defend well as Harleston struggled to make the breakthrough.
