The second goal followed shortly afterwards by Finn Goodwin Wright. With five minutes to go to half-time St Andrews were down to 10 men through injury.

This obviously unsettled St Andrews and Finn Goodwin-Wright was on hand to score his second goal with an exquisite finish.

The second half saw Harleston play with some fine attacking football and were rewarded with a fourth goal scored by Ben Green, completing a move with some fine attacking play on the right-hand side.

Harleston then went into overdrive as Paul Bliss scored the fifth and Goodwin-Wright and Green completed their hat-tricks.

Wes Holloway came off the bench to score Harleston's eighth, and with chances still being missed, Harleston completed the rout with James Trudgill beating two players before unleashing a shot that went in off a St Andrews defender.

Harleston host Brandon Town Reserves on Saturday.
