Harleston Town were away to Marlingford on Saturday and both teams produced a cracker of a game, drawing 2-2.

Harleston started the stronger of the two sides and were unlucky not to be ahead with Mahboubinik going close narrowly missing the post.

Marlingford were soon on the attack and after winning a corner their striker scored with a near-post header totally unmarked.

Harleston soon levelled when a mix-up between Marlingford's defence and goalkeeper let in Finn Goodwin Wright to level.

In the second half Harleston again took the game to Marlingford but yet again poor marking from a Marlingford corner gave them the lead.

Harleston continued to play a solid attacking game and were rewarded with a fantastic finish from the in-form Finn Goodwin Wright.

Towards the latter stages of the game Harleston hit a post through Goodwin Wright again and James Trudgill back from injury went close in the final stages.

Harleston entertain St Andrews on Saturday at 2.30pm and play again on Easter Monday at 11am against Easton.
