HARRIERS came up against a very good Thetford II hockey side and lost 4-0.
Thetford took the lead early on through an unstoppable lifted shot blasted over the keeper into the top corner.
The forward three of Jodie, TJ Allison and Maxine caught Thetford on the break a few times but were unable to equalise.
The Harriers' defence was under a lot of pressure for most of the first half.
Goalie Kim Abel made some first-class saves but was unlucky to concede another excellently-taken goal.
The second half was a tight affair for the first 20 minutes. Harriers went on the attack several times with great inter-play from Marie Philpott creating great chances for the forwards but the Thetford defence were too strong. They caught Harriers on the break, scoring twice.
