Diss Otters Swimming Club have appointed Penny Storie as their new head coach.
The club will look to drive the development of their competitive programme, building on an established platform for the future. Penny has already started coaching the Otters and set down benchmarks for the team.
She previously coached at County/Gold Squad at Havering Aquatics Swim Team and in the short time she was there enjoyed success at the Essex County Championships, while she was selected to be a coach on the Essex training camp.
Before this, she coached at Killerwhales Swimming Club for six years, starting as a swimming teacher and working her way up to head teacher of the Killerwhales Swim School, junior squad coach, and land training instructor for the senior squad.
Katie Bull, who was previously Otters' head coach, said: 'It's great for the club to have a new coach.
'Penny has a lot of experience at regional and national competitions and she has some excellent new ideas and aims for the club.
