New Eccles Hall pupils stride out
New Eccles Hall School, Quidenham, hosted the Eastern Region Independent Schools Association Cross-Country Championships for pupils aged eight through to 18.
New Eccles Hall School, Quidenham, hosted the Eastern Region Independent Schools Association Cross-Country Championships for pupils aged eight through to 18.
Those competitors placed in the first 10 in each race qualified for the National Finals which were held at Princethorpe College Warwickshire.
Four New Eccles Hall School pupils reached the national finals which was a great achievement. In the finals Joseph Kirton was New Eccles Hall's best placed runner at 14th in the U16 age group with the other three runners finishing midfield.
'We are very proud that this young athletes qualified for the national finals,' reported Alistair Forbes, head of games at the New Eccles Hall. 'They have all enjoyed the experience and honed their competitive edge,' he added.
