Harleston 7, North Walsham Res 0
HARLESTON convincingly defeated a weak North Walsham Reserves outfit.
The hosts were soon in front when David Norman continued his excellent recent goal-scoring form with a header. Jake Imrie, Fionn Goodwin Wright and Dan Burrett all went close and Marc Pearce struck the bar with a good header.
On the half-hour mark, Walsham were forced down to ten men when they lost a player due to injury but, to their credit, they carried on battling and were on top.
In the second half Harleston doubled their lead with an excellent long-range strike from the centre-half before Walsham went down to nine men shortly after when their goalkeeper picked up a nasty injury.
Fionn Goodwin Wright curled in the third then a fourth, James Trudgill netted the fifth with a fine run and sublime chipped finish before goals from Barm Goodwin Wright, his first for the club and Marc Pearce.
MoM: Bubby Dade, great display on return from injury.
