Otters are splash hit

TWO swimmers from Diss Otters (pictured) were chosen to represent Norfolk at this year's ASA East Region Inter-Counties Gala which was held at the DeHaviland Campus pool at the University of Hertfordshire in Hatfield.

TWO swimmers from Diss Otters (pictured) were chosen to represent Norfolk at this year's ASA East Region Inter-Counties Gala which was held at the DeHaviland Campus pool at the University of Hertfordshire in Hatfield.

Liam Osborne competed in the individual 100m backstroke event for 15/16-year-old boys as well as the 4x100m medley relay (backstroke leg) and the 4x100m freestyle relay.

Katie Nash was part of the 11/12-year- old girls' 4x100m freestyle relay and recorded her fastest-ever split time.

Final scores: Suffolk 244, Hertfordshire 218, Essex 167, Bedfordshire 145, Norfolk 142, Cambridgeshire 132.
