CRAIG Sparkes and Lewis Wilby, from Long Stratton, came joint ninth in the International Kite Snowboarding Masters competition held in France recently. Craig said: 'This was our first time snow kiting - and with only a few weeks' snowboarding in the past - so we were really stoked with the result!'
The 21-year-olds had made good use of the snowfall before Christmas for training.
