AS the summer season finished in the South Norfolk Netball League it was a very close race.The end the league was won by Phoenix by just one point with Pink Panthers and Pink Fizz coming joint second.

The end the league was won by Phoenix by just one point with Pink Panthers and Pink Fizz coming joint second.
Panthers have had a successful season with sharp defending by Jane Seaman, Kate Wright, Sara Whiting and Sarah Anderson, flowing midcourt play by Gail Clay, Vicky Bowman, Kirsten Knox and great positioning and shooting by Sharon Easter, Andrea Chadwick and Sarah Anderson. This team work hard and are very committed.
After the success of promotion to Division Three in the West Suffolk League yet more celebrations followed with a great win at the West Suffolk tournament held in aid of St Nicholas Hospice.
There was tight defending by Annelly Miles, Katie Wright, Sam Howard and Sarah Anderson, high standard of midcourt play by Kristen Knox, Gail Clay and Emily Crosland, and continued accurate shooting by Andrea Chadwick, Sharon Easter and Sarah Anderson.
The tournament split into three divisions following the morning's matches and the Pink Ladies were delighted when at the end of a very wet day it was announced they had won Division Two.

Captain Andrea Chadwick said: 'We have had a brilliant summer season with our play improving throughout. The whole team including Sara Whiting, Vicky Bowman, Mary De Las Casas and Tanya Chenery have played with great determination and displayed great skill. Winning the tournament was a fitting end to a triumphant season.'
