Diss Saracens played Broadland & Great Yarmouth and with their best squad available scored six tries to gain a four-point win, which could prove vital as there are only three remaining league fixtures to play with Saracens trailing Fakenham at the top on points difference.

Diss started strongly and within five minutes, Adam Goymour broke through to release Matt Trede to score, with Goymour converting. With a new second row partnership of Matt Cullum and Ben Walker along with a great front row, Diss forwards had dominance in the scrum and line-outs.

Other try scorers included Trede with a further try, Luke Burridge (two), Fred Precious and Peter Bray. All but one of the tries were converted by Goymour for a final score of 40-12.

Saracens next weekend travel to North Walsham in the Norfolk Bowl Cup, 2.15pm kick off. Their final fixture will be against current leaders Fakenham on Saturday, March 25 away.
