New Eccles Hall School had four pupils taking part in the Independent Schools Association Cross-Country Championships at Princethorpe College, Warwickshire last week.
Natasha Potgeiter from Year 7 along with Michael Dawe, Ben Hood and Nicholas Gaither from Year 11 had qualified at the regional championships held at New Eccles Hall School.
The pupils achieved excellent results in the national finals.
Natasha finished fourth in her race. Michael and Ben finished sixth and seventh respectively. Nicholas finished in a commendable 28th position.
There were 80 runners in each race from all over the UK.
“We are very proud of Natasha's efforts in particular but to have three of our school runners finishing in the top ten of a national event is exceptional,” said headteacher Richard Allard.
