Geoff Smart (Diss) kicked off the 2008 TSR banger season with one of his best meetings ever with a fantastic display.Smart kicked off the meeting by racing away to victory in his heat where despite a rapidly advancing Russell Gill (Lynn) over the last few laps, Smart kept his nerve well to not stray off line and took a good win.

Smart kicked off the meeting by racing away to victory in his heat where despite a rapidly advancing Russell Gill (Lynn) over the last few laps, Smart kept his nerve well to not stray off line and took a good win.
This was then followed by another confident drive in the final where Geoff guaranteed that he will be moving up the colour chart in the first grading periods of the year with a superb fourth place finish. Graham Garrod (Thetford) won the meeting final.
Stock car and banger racing returns to the Norfolk Arena this Saturday (6.30pm) where the TSR bangers return to the track with action also coming from the lady bangers and the BriSCA MiniStox also in action.
