Bungay Town 2, Long Stratton 3

STRATTON made two changes to the side that beat Holt last week, in came Kaine Challen and Stephen Blunt.

Stratton started on the front foot with a high-tempo hard- working game and pressed Bungay back but it wasn't until the 38th minute their superiority was rewarded with a goal, Shaun Flint crossing for James Barnes to leap and head home.

A minute before the break it was so nearly 2-0 Flint creating the chance for Paul Folkard to hit a post.

Stratton begun the second half exactly the same, Chris Bartram heading over the bar and Folkard scuffing a shot when clean through.

In the 65th minute Bungay broke through the visitors defence to equalise, the scores remained level for only three minutes though as Barnes drilled a shot low into the net.

Flint was causing all sorts of problems down both channels and made it a hat-trick of assists when his corner was headed in by David Robinson to make it 3-1 with nine minutes left. Bungay scored right at the end to give the scoreline a flattering look but Stratton were well worth the three points and are now into the top five.
