Ton-derful day for Bunwell
BUNWELL won the toss against Hales Colts and captain Iain Nichols decided to bat first. Hales started well taking the early wicket of Alan Harris for four, but Bunwell came back strong with two massive hundreds from D Parfit (148) and S Turner (139) in a stand of 247.

Hales started well taking the early wicket of Alan Harris for four, but Bunwell came back strong with two massive hundreds from D Parfit (148) and S Turner (139) in a stand of 247.
Hales could not do anything about it with both batsmen really turning on the class,
Parfit was finally out, caught and bowled by I Roth. Iain (captain fantastic) Nichols and N Aston added quick runs taking the total to a massive 389, Turner was not out with a score of 139.

Hales in reply found it hard to fight back, N Aston and B Wood were in fine form, Wood had two separate chances to get hat-tricks and Aston's pace was far to much for the Hales batsmen,
Aston ended with figures of 4 for 8 and B Wood ended with 6 for 5, Hales were all out for 17 bringing home a record win for Bunwell.
