LONG Stratton U11 held their presentation evening at the Swan Inn recently.

A mixture of family members and senior players and members of Long Stratton FC watched as chairman Chris Austin and reserves' manager Rob Eastaff presented George Bettridge with players' player of the year, Wayne Bemrose with top scorer, Brendan Edwards the loyalty award, Matt Bushell most improved and Taylor Whiting won a trophy for goal of the season.

Manager and assistant Steve Race and Ricky Bemrose were presented with club jackets for their efforts.

A raffle raised £147, of which half was donated to Vic Harwin's Coast to Coast Macmillan Cancer Support Fund. Many thanks to Dave and Jo at the Swan Inn for a wonderful spread and to Rob Eastaff for donating a signed Norwich City shirt and ball for the raffle.
