In the Diss & District Table Tennis League Withersdale Bees put in a fine all-round performance by beating Shotguns C 10-0 in the Leisure Sport Premier Division of the Diss and District Table Tennis League.

The team of Barney Garrod, Adrian Key and Steve Griffee did the damage although the latter had a close battle with Rob Crawford before narrowly winning 11-9, 9-11, 7-11, 11-5, 12-10.
However they were brought down with a bump when Pulham trounced them 10-0 this week.
Elsewhere Roydon had a good win over Shotguns D 7-3 although no player could overcome Darren Hubbard. Trevor Goddard came close to adding to Shotguns' total before losing to Nigel Manning 5-11, 11-8, 8-11, 9-11, 8-11.

Newton Flotman Eagles extended their Speedy Bat Sports division one push for the title by beating Shotguns E 10-0 and Shotguns F 7-3.
Billy Howe came close for the E team against John Williams before losing 3-11 in the fifth leg but Marcus Hammond was in fine form for the F team winning two games but found Kieran Brady tough and lost 11-13, 11-9, 9-11, 12-14.

The F team were also beaten 8-2 by Aslacton where Lionel Coe and Nigel Barker were unbeaten. Botesdale Batters were beaten in both their matches against Palgrave Stars (3-7) and Aslacton (4-6) although Nigel Bowen was the Batters' saviour as he won all his games in both matches.
Elsewhere Thrandeston beat Shotguns G 10-0. Holly Fleming was unlucky not to record a point for the G team as he lost 12-10, 6-11, 12-10, 5-11, 4-11 to Kevin Smith.
Palgrave Terriers are the first team into the final of the Knock-Out Handicap final after squeezing past Palgrave Tornadoes 10-8. Father and son William and George Cole did the damage winning four legs apiece and were well supported by Tony Park.
However it was the Tornadoes' Dennis Sore who was the man of the night as he was unbeaten. The Terriers will meet either Roydon or Withesdale in the final.
