Diss Vixens Under-18s turned on the style on a hot afternoon to beat their Sudbury counterparts 84-31 at Thetford.

The Vixens, playing in blue, started strongly, dominating the game in the first quarter and scoring multiple tries while stopping Sudbury from replying.

The second quarter was more even, with Sudbury coming back with a few tries of their own against heavy Diss tackling. However, Diss kept their lead with more balls carried over the line, making for an exciting end of the match.

Due to the heat, the second half was slightly different to the first. The girls played the third quarter in a reduced sized pitch.

This gave Diss more energy which lead to further tries with managing to score one themselves.

The final quarter moved to a sevens game due to injuries, giving the girls more room to run and this led to the Vixens adding even more points to the board.
