Wilby aids Harleston victory
Harleston Town progressed to the quarter-finals of the Cryil Balin Trophy, beating Necton 5-2.Yet again Harleston Town made a sloppy start to the game,and it was no surprise after 25 minutes they found themselves 1 nil down to Necton after they had finished off a very good move.

Yet again Harleston Town made a sloppy start to the game,and it was no surprise after 25 minutes they found themselves 1 nil down to Necton after they had finished off a very good move.
This brought Harleston back to earth and they soon realised they would have to raise there game to get anything out of this game,which they duly did.
Two minutes before half-time Harleston Town finally broke down a dogged Necton defence and Sam Wilby produced a neat finish to equalise.
The second half Harleston came out all guns blazing and whilst dominating the game found themselves 2 1 down by another good move from Necton.
This proved to be shortlived as they soon began to tire and Harleston equalised through the impressive Sam wilby with another deadly finish.

Manager Keith Lewis made two changes into the second half bringing on Ed Hipperson and who duly went on a mazy run and finished with a deft flick to give Harleston the lead.
Harleston were now rampant and Sam wilby completed his hatrick with yet another fine finish.The last ten minutes Ed hipperson was a constant menace and yet again one of his runs help set up Sam Wilby for his 4th goal,and Harlestons fifth.Harleston play high flying North Walsham Town on the 24th, a top-of-the table clash at 2pm,at the recreation ground Harleston.
