DISS Ladies are sitting pretty in third position in Division Two after another winning weekend away at King's Lynn versus Pelicans Ladies III.
Top scorer Alice Brown opened the account for Diss and Lucy Kershaw quickly made it 2-0 finishing off a great Sam Howard cross. Pelicans snatched a goal back on the half-time whistle and continued to threaten after the break.
However Diss were outstanding in defence with Diane Marshall and Keeley Reed making some tremendous tackles to keep Diss ahead.
Anne Plowman made it 3-1 before the umpire awarded Lucy Kershaw a somewhat dubious fourth goal for the team to make it a superb 4-1 victory.
