GOLF BATTLE: Under sunny skies and in dry conditions Diss took on Bungay in the in the Suffolk Junior Team Handicap Cup. Using a stableford scoring system with all three scores counting Diss had a very close and exciting game which went to the last hole in the last match before victory was guaranteed.
Diss amassed 111 points to Bungay’s 108 with Adam Wright top scoring for Diss with 41 points, Chris Lee scored 34 and captain George Osborn came through at the last with 36.
