Diss Vixens U13s and 15s travelled to Crusaders not only for a highly anticipated series of matches, but to offer new players the opportunity to play in competitive matches.

Diss Under 13s, along with a Lakenham Hewitt player, took on a Crusaders side in a fast paced game which constantly changed. In a close battle Crusaders took the lead on several occasions only to be pegged back by the experience and tenacity of Megan Stanley, a seasoned Diss Vixen player. Game play improved throughout with good interplay by both sides, with Diss winning at the final whistle.

The Under 15s, who are fast becoming a leading side in Norfolk, took on a combined team of Crusaders and Lakenham players. James Stanley, one of the Vixen coaching staff said: “Game by game tackling is improving. We welcomed Sophie for her first game as an Under 15 Vixen in a fiercely contested game ending in a draw.”
