A spectacular fireworks display will be one of the attractions of a Big Bang '08 charity event this month.
It takes place at Tibenham Airfield on Saturday, September 27, and is being jointly hosted by Norfolk Young Farmers and Round Table members who are raising funds for the East Anglian air ambulance service.
Round Table spokesman Des Fulcher said: “South Norfolk council leader John Fuller and Tibenham Airfield came to the rescue when we were looking for a venue.
“Woodfordes are also supporting the event and have been really good by selling us ale at very attractive rates so extra proceeds can be raised for the air ambulance.”
Mr Fulcher said a previous Big Bang in 1997 was a huge success, raising £5,000 for Great Ormond Street hospital.
And the lead singer from the group who topped the bill would be performing at Tibenham, with local band The Collective.
