Archive pictures of villages on display
A FILM and slideshow of archive pictures of Ketteringham and East Carleton is taking place at Ketteringham Village Hall on Sunday.The Boileau Family has given Ketteringham and East Carleton History Group access to their family photographs of the Ketteringham Estate from the 1860s to 1915.

The Boileau Family has given Ketteringham and East Carleton History Group access to their family photographs of the Ketteringham Estate from the 1860s to 1915.
They include previously unseen photographs and Nokes postcards of the family, villagers, houses and cottages (some now demolished), church and hall giving a unique glimpse of life in the villages in the early 1900s. An 8mm film of the 1963 point-to-point races at the old Hethersett race course near Thickthorn will also be shown, and there will be a display of photographs and memorabilia of the racecourse.
Tickets for the 3pm event are �3 at the door and include a hot drink and cake.
