A free folk festival that attracted some of the region's best folk musicians to performing at a South Norfolk pub looks set to return next year after its successful debut.
The inaugural Burston with Folk, organised jointly with the Waveney Valley Folk Collective, it drew crowds to the small South Norfolk village on May 26.
The Burston Crown hosted 10 different acts between 1pm and 11pm including headliners Suffolk folk and roots duo Honey and the Bear and the John Ward Trio. Local acts playing included Tangles, the Ludlum Pikes and David Black.
Peter Arnold, from Waveney Valley Folk Collective, who is a music teacher, and owner of Diss Music Hub in Chapel Street, said: "We all met when playing at The Burston Crown so it was so fitting to return for this great day of folk music.
"This successful day gives us something to build on and hopefully we will be back next year. In the meantime anyone can come to our events held at the Bank in Eye."
