BriTtany-based group the Churchfitters, made up of musicians from England, Ireland and France, are heading for Garboldisham early next year.Their show features original songwriting as well as rearranged songs and tunes from the British Isles that unite the rhythms of rock, pop and jazz with the universal appeal of traditional music.
BriTtany-based group the Churchfitters, made up of musicians from England, Ireland and France, are heading for Garboldisham early next year.
Their show features original songwriting as well as rearranged songs and tunes from the British Isles that unite the rhythms of rock, pop and jazz with the universal appeal of traditional music.
They play an array of acoustic instruments inclu-ding fiddle, double bass, bouzouki, flute, saxophone, guitar, banjo, dulcimer, whistle and mandolin.
The Churchfitters, and a guest support act, will perform at Garboldisham Village Hall on Saturday, January 24 at 8pm. Tickets are £10, available on 01359 251498 (evenings).
Proceeds will go to Action for ME - last year's concert raised more than £1,600.
