Visitors to Eye Castle will be able to take part in a day of medieval marvels on Wednesday.
Mid Suffolk District Council's countryside team will be staging the event where visitors will find out about siege warfare and watch a model trebuchet firing cabbages and can make their own marshmallow-firing catapult.
Participants will be able to make their own bow and arrow and enter a tower building competition using only marshmallows and spaghetti. There will also be workshops to illustrate an illuminated letter, make a clay pendant, and design a family shield.
The day runs from 10am until 3pm and takes place at Eye Castle, in the centre of the town and The Pennings Local Nature Reserve, a short walk from the castle.
The event costs 3 for children and is free for accompanying adults.
