The Lophams Farmers market gets the summer holidays off to a flying start this weekend with a special Grand Summer Draw at the Village Hall, North Lopham.
Just by turning up visitors will be eligible for free entry into the summer Draw where a food hamper can be won. The hamper will include various items from the 20 or so local vendors selling their produce at the award winning market. Available at the market will be local beef, pork, lamb and chicken, cakes and savouries , award winning cheese and milk producers, in season fruits and veg , local beer and wine, and a range of garden plants outside.
Market organiser Mike Shipperlee said: “We are proud of what we have achieved at this market, winning awards and creating a venue with a truly unique welcoming atmosphere in our traditional but modernised village hall. We have a tea room serving hot and cold refreshments and the village hall is set in five acres of grounds, with ample parking and views all around of the lovely Norfolk rural countryside.'
Mike invites everyone to come along at the July market on Saturday 26th July between 9am and 12.30pm at the Lophams Village Hall North Lopham, situated about 5 miles West of Diss just off the A1066 at South Lopham.
