FORMER telecoms industry worker and enthusiastic cook Allison Wallington has swapped her desk for the fast food industry and is one of the highlights of Diss Farmers' Market this month.

Her business, Creative Crêpes, offers the healthier food that she likes to create and eat. Her savoury buckwheat wraps are based on the French “Galette” and there are sweet and savoury fillings, mostly locally-sourced, on offer.

At Diss, the Creative Crêpe Company will be offering sample tasters for visitors and there will be the chance to buy home produced cakes and savouries, vegetables, free range eggs, plants in season and salad from the other stalls.

There will be live jazz from Ross Bradbury of Music of Measure.

Diss Farmers Market is on Saturday and every second Saturday of the month. It runs from 9am-1pm in the Market Place.
