There will be roof cover for some and a limited amount of seating for the less able bodied at farmyard carol singing for charity to be held at the home of John Nickalls at Oak Farm Bungalow, Sawyers Lane, Suton, on Wednesday at 7pm.

The singing area will be adjacent to live cattle which organisers hope will not be lowing (mooing) as they were in the carol "Away In A Manger ", but instead the singing will be led much more tunefully by the D`Capo choir.

It is a farmyard so the audience is advised to arrive in walking boots or wellies and to wrap up warmly. A hot beverage with a mince pie is available free, but there will be a bucket collection for Quidenham Hospice.

The event is held with children in mind and donations will go to help children who are cared for at the Hospice.

There is ample car parking and the event will probably last about 45 minutes, but the audience is advised to arrive in good time so children can have a lingering look at the cattle.
