Harleston and Waveney Art Trail has announced this summer's dates.

The Trail is now in its fourth year, and the 30 member artists living and working in this lovely Waveney Valley will be opening up their studios and workshops over the weekends of 5th/6th; 12th/13th; and 19th/20th of July. Open Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 6pm, and entry is free.

Alongside familiar faces are some new artist members on the Trail. John Lidzey, nationally recognised watercolourist, and Alan Frewin, guest artist and accomplished potter and painter, are in Harleston; colourful abstract painter Nell Close in Wortwell; landscape painter and stone sculptor Rosemary Elliott at Wingfield; Christopher Parr/Rebecca Lyne who have launched a new sculpture meadow in Brockdish; and Alice Palser, guest artist and sculptor will be exhibiting at St Cross.

The Trail brochure with pictures and information about all the artists is now available from libraries, shops, b&b's and other public places in Harleston, Bungay, Diss and the surrounding villages from early June.

Harleston Gallery will be hosting a special Trail preview exhibition at its new location in Harleston's Old Market Place from 1st to 29th, and Harleston Library will be exhibiting some more paintings from Trail artists from 3rd to 26th July.
