A range of craft works produced by Harleston Community Crafts will be on show at a special open morning.

The event at Jays Green Hall on October 4 from 10am to noon will be a chance to see the work created by the group's ladies, as well as two gentlemen members: Ivan who does silk embroidery and Gerald who produces watercolours.

It will be a chance to see the different crafts the group do, have a cup of tea and biscuit and a chat with the members of the friendly group who raise funds that go back into the community.

Members recently made numerous poppies both knitted and crocheted for display in the Norwich Cathedral in November. They have 'in house' workshops inviting people who do crafts, with recent examples including cane work and smocking. They also knit items for premature babies and the homeless.

Proceeds from the raffle on the day will go to the information centre.
