Diss Museum manager Basil Abbott has told the museum trustees of his hopes for the coming year. He plans to mark important anniversaries in the lives of Thomas Paine and Diss Grammar School.
Diss Museum manager Basil Abbott has told the museum trustees of his hopes for the coming year. He plans to mark important anniversaries in the lives of Thomas Paine and Diss Grammar School. He has been interviewed for Anglia TV in Beehive Terrace which is linked with Paine, a revolutionary active in both France and the USA.
Participation in Diss Carnival on June 21/22 is planned and the History of the Town Guide may be explored.
Plans will be finalised in the coming weeks before the re-opening of the museum in the market place in March.
