Murder in the Cathedral, T.S. Eliot's play about the murder of Thomas Becket, will be performed in Redgrave Church later this year. In preparation, director Duncan Livingstone will hold a presentation meeting in St Mary's Church on March 9.

Everyone interested in taking part in what promises to be an exciting drama event is welcome at this meeting, when light refreshments will be served. Duncan said: "We are looking for a cast, as well as important back-stage help, including costume people, so urge anyone interested to come along to this meeting and hear about the plans".

At this meeting, details of the performance planned for November 6, 7 and 8 this year in the atmospheric and restored surroundings of St Mary's Church, will be outlined by Duncan, who hopes to be able to announce an audition date and rehearsal programme. The performance will be presented by the Redgrave Church Heritage Trust, who will manage the Box Office and production.

The presentation meeting is on Sunday afternoon, March 9, at 2.30pm in St Mary's Church, Redgrave. Further inquiries to 01379 898726 or 01379 898450.
