THE Mere Players's next production, after the successful In The Mood For Christmas musical variety show, is to be One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest to be staged in May next year at Roydon Village Hall.
The presentation evening is on Tuesday at 8pm at Roydon Village Hall in the Barclay Room, with the auditions to follow after Christmas and New Year, in the second week of January.
Felicity Humphress will be directing this production.
Many People will remember the Oscar-winning film with Jack Nicholson. The critically acclaimed stage play is by Dale Wasserman based on the book by Ken Kesey.
The play requires 15 men and four women and provides great acting opportunities for all involved. Some of the parts are non - speaking but great character roles.
The requirement of numbers for male actors is quite high, but the rewards for those taking part will be great.
