The highly-praised Amici Choir has agreed to present a programme of music and readings to reflect the season of Advent in Hoxne Parish Church on Sunday, December 7 at 5pm.

The 18-voice a capella choir, conducted by Adrian Knott of Syleham, will provide a memorable beginning to the real preparations for Christmas. The programme is based on music from the Renaissance but with the addition of a spiritual and more recent works.

This is a rare opportunity as the choir is planning just seven concerts this season - three of which will be in France. Admission is free and a glass of wine will be offered at the end of the concert. A collection will be made towards the work of the Friends of St Peter and St Paul, Hoxne, which will soon enter a new phase when planned improvements to the church go ahead.

Car parking is available at the rear of the church. For more information call 01379 669157
