Stradbroke will be holding its first ever Festifull weekend on Saturday and Sunday.
The weekend is the culmination of months of hard work by volunteers to bring together the traditional summer fete, family pet show and inter-village games at the village playing fields and swimming pool in Wilby Road.
Saturday morning starts with a giant car boot sale and car wash from 9am and the afternoon sees a host of activities including dog agility demonstrations, pet show, children's treasure hunt, face painting and much more.
There will be over 15 stalls from village clubs and societies, refreshments and licensed bar. The Inter-villages also starts with the junior 5-a-side football and swimming events.
Sunday afternoon will see teams from Stradbroke, Badingham, Laxfield, Dennington, Fressingfield, Weybread, and Mendham and Withersdale all taking part in a huge variety of traditional sports and fun events from 1pm including egg throwing, the Olympic Ring Race, welly throwing, and a giant obstacle race.
