Each household in Weybread will receive one free copy of a book about the village. The official launch of 'The Parish of Weybread - Then and Now' will take place on Saturday at the village hall between 6pm and 10pm.
Each household in Weybread will receive one free copy of a book about the village. The official launch of 'The Parish of Weybread - Then and Now' will take place on Saturday at the village hall between 6pm and 10pm.
Residents are invited to collect their copy of the book and enjoy a free social evening with refreshments. People living outside the village are also welcome to attend and can make a donation of £10 if they would like a copy.
The book, which has 192 pages and over 300 photographs, was written by Graham Gibbs and researched by Sue Webster and Ray Fish. Grants towards the book's production were awarded by Awards for All, Mid Suffolk District Council and Weybread Parish Council.
