On Sunday, June 8 at 2.30pm, there will be an afternoon entitled Kidz Caberet at the Compass Centre in Attleborough. It will be an evening of homespun entertainment and performances from local youngsters. The cabaret is going to be a showcase of talent and comedy from can can dancers to magic shows, funny acts and music presented by Madam Moustache and the Moustachitos. All money raised will go to the Wishing Well Charity in Romania which works with underprivileged children.

Meanwhile an evening of showcasing local bands and talent will be held at The Barrel in Banham on Saturday from 8pm onwards, entry £5.

Headlining on the night are Rumjig, an experimental four-piece circus funk jazz outfit. There will also be the up and coming Tribe of Brikbat playing their own brand of electro-punk and psychedelic club and several local DJs spinning an eclectic mix of music.

In June a small group of volunteers are travelling (self-funded) to Romania to offer their services to the Wishing Well charity, providing summer camps, support, education and fun.
